Inter owned Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa had more goal involvements than any other Brazilian player in 2019, as per popular Brazilian football orientated Twitter account Brasil Edition.
The 23-year-old striker spent the entire year out on loan at Flamengo and scored 43 goals and gave 13 assists meaning he made 56 goal involvements.
This was six more than Flamengo teammate Bruno Henrique, who finished second, managed and 12 more than third placed Gabriel Jesus. Gabigol’s total of 56 is in fact twice as many as Paris Saint Germain star Neymar made.
