Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal wants to join Inter and has decided to leave Barcelona, with the player’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, set to confirm his intentions to the Blaugrana’s management tomorrow, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the objective now for all parties is to find a final agreement that will satisfy everyone’s wishes, especially for Barcelona, considering Vidal’s legal complaints about unpaid bonuses.

In regard to the rumours suggesting that Juventus are keen on the 32-year-old Chilean, the report continues, there has been no contact between Felicevich and the Bianconeri’s sporting director, Fabio Paratici. The rumours were only created in order to raise the price of the Chilean.

Vidal himself wants Inter and has had his mind set on joining the Milanese club since early November, the report adds. In recent weeks some Chinese clubs, as well as Premier League side Manchester United, have registered their interest in the player, but he only wants to head to Milan.

The Chilean will be offered a 30-month contract, the report continues, which will last until 2022. The first six months will be worth €4.5 million net plus bonuses, whilst the following two seasons will be worth €6 million net per season.

The final thing blocking the deal is Barcelona’s valuation of the player, the report highlights. The Catalan club want at least €20 million for Vidal, open to a loan deal with a buy obligation attached. Inter, on the other hand, have offered €12 million for him, creating a difference of €8 million. The two clubs are likely to meet in the middle in order to facilitate the deal.
