Inter are no longer prioritising signing a new full back in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri would only consider signing a full back in the upcoming January transfer window if a player currently in that role, such as Kwadwo Asamoah, departs. However, there are currently no rumours suggesting that any of the Milanese club’s full backs are considering leaving in January.

The Nerazzurri are been linked to multiple different full backs in January, the report highlights, including a variety of reports suggesting the club are looking to sign Parma full back Matteo Darmian, as well as Chelsea left back Marcos Alonso. By no longer prioritising a full back, Inter can now look to focus on other important acquisitions, such as a new midfielder and a new forward, namely Arturo Vidal and Olivier Giroud or Fernando Llorente.
