Ashley Young’s representatives are expected to be in Milan tomorrow to hold talks with Inter over a move to them according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The 34-year-old full back’s contract with Manchester United is due to expire at the end of the season and Young has rejected a contract extension due to wanting to move to Inter.

Inter had initially proposed a six month deal until the end of the season that would come with a one year extension depending on certain criteria being met but this report suggests his representatives and Inter management are going to discuss an 18 month deal.

Inter are not wanting to spend big on signing Young due to his expiring contract status and are hopeful that Manchester United could agree to free him.

This season 39-time England international Young has made 18 appearances across all competitions. In 1313 minutes, he has scored one goal and tallied a single assist.
