Inter Milan are ready to go all-out with a full-strength lineup in this evening’s Serie A match against Lazio, with 98 points still on the table.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter have just two matches to go in Serie A before their season is over.

And in truth, they are hardly the highest-stakes matches that the Nerazzurri will ever play.

Unlike last season’s run-in, which saw Inter fighting for a Champions League place in the league whilst also playing in the Coppa Italia and the Champions League finals, this time around there is little for the team to fight for.

The Nerazzurri wrapped up the Serie A title last month. They did so with a famous win over city rivals AC Milan.

Meanwhile, there are no more cup competitions after early exits from the Coppa Italia and Champions League,

That doesn’t mean that Inter do not want to end the season on a high note, however.

Moreover, there is still the possibility of finishing the campaign with 98 points.

Inter cannot hit triple digits after their surprise loss away to Sassuolo a couple of weeks ago.

However, 98 points would be enough to break the Nerazzurri’s club records for a single league campaign, from the 2006-07 season.

Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is still hungry to pick up maximum points.

In Inter’s last couple of matches against Sassuolo and Frosinone, the Nerazzurri coach has rotated his team significantly.

But this evening, there will be no wavering from Inzaghi.

From Yann Sommer in goal to Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram leading the line, the Inter coach will go with what he sees as the strongest staring eleven available to him.

Lazio, meanwhile, are still fighting to secure a Europa League berth.
