Arturo Vidal could still end up at Inter by the end of this month according to a report in today’s print edition of Milan based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Barcelona midfielder appeared to be Inter’s number one transfer target heading into the January transfer market but Barcelona’s continued reluctance to let him go forced Inter to look elsewhere, namely at Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen, who looks set to join.

However, a move for the Chilean international is not completely dead in the water and Inter could go back in for him if Matias Vecino is sold.

Vecino, as per other reports in the media, has been placed on the transfer list by the Nerazzurri who seemingly want €20 million for him.

The Uruguayan international has drawn links with moves to AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, Fiorentina and Lazio recently and funds raised through his sale would help Inter to fund their move for Vidal.
