Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal could press to leave the Catalan club if he doesn’t start in tonight’s game against Granada, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how new Blaugrana coach Quique Setién didn’t reassure the Chilean midfielder when discussing the situation in a press conference yesterday, with his words even suggesting that Vidal could play less minutes than he did under previous Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde.

Vidal could begin to push for a move away from the club again if he doesn’t start in tonight’s game, the report highlights. Inter, could consider signing Vidal as well as coach Antonio Conte still appreciates the 32-year-old despite their aims of signing Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

However, Matias Vecino must first depart before the Nerazzurri can consider signing both the Danish and the Chilean international midfielders.

Vidal has made 15 league appearances for Barcelona so far this season but has only started four times.
