Italian journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio discussed Inter’s transfer market moves in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia today, after the Nerazzurri’s 1-1 draw against Lecce.

“The deals for Christian Eriksen and Victor Moses are to be finalised in these coming weeks,” he said.

“The only uncertain situation for Inter at the moment is with signing Olivier Giroud, because they need to wait for Matteo Politano to find a new club first.”

Di Marzio then spoke about the current situation of the 26-year-old Italian forward.

“Politano wants to go to Roma and has also publicly shown himself at the airport,” he confirmed.

“The relationship is not good between the clubs, but by making the tension cool down they can try again to find a deal involving only the Inter forward.”

Politano was close to joining the Giallorossi earlier this week, in a deal that would have seen the 26-year-old Italian forward be sent down to Rome in exchange for full back Leonardo Spinazzola.

However, the deal ultimately collapsed and now the Nerazzurri must find a new home for the player or convince Roma to sign him.
