Christian Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots hopes to be able to finalise his client’s transfer to Inter tomorrow according to a report from La Repubblica.

Eriksen expressed his desire to leave Spurs for Inter in a meeting with the north London club’s chairman Daniel Levy earlier on today and another meeting between the clubs is expected to take place in the coming hours.

The gap between Inter’s offer and Spurs’ €20 million demands has been reduced but if Spurs continue to refuse to drop their demands, Inter will just meet their demands for the 27-year-old Danish international, the report from the Rome based newspaper claims.

Inter have already reached an agreement in principle with Eriksen over a four and a half year contract and all going well, he could be presented in front of Inter fans for the first time on Sunday afternoon at San Siro, when Inter play host to Cagliari.
