If Matias Vecino leaves the club, Inter will attempt to bring in another midfielder according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter had offered Vecino to Napoli in a swap deal that would have seen Allan head in the opposite direction but Napoli had no interest in doing this deal and are unlikely to have any interest in doing it in the future either.

Allan is however seen by Inter management as the perfect player for Antonio Conte and they could attempt a move for him with the money raised through Vecino’s sale.

Inter are looking for €20 million for the Uruguayan international midfielder and it is understood that Premier League side Everton are keen on signing him.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Matteo Politano’s proposed move to Napoli could also have an affect on Inter’s bid to sign Allan as it could lead to Napoli granting them a slight discount.
