Inter wing back Cristiano Biraghi spoke with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV immediately after Inter’s 2-1 win over Ludogorets and shared his thoughts on the game.

The Italian national team defender started by sharing his delight at scoring his first ever goal for Inter during the match as he finished, with help from a deflection, after a fine through ball by Christian Eriksen, during the first half.

“I am happy to have scored my first goal in an Inter shirt, I have dreamed of this moment since I was a child. I am happy for the victory and for the qualification to the next round, I would like to dedicate the goal to my wife and my girls,” he said.

Biraghi then went on to speak about this coming weekend’s Derby D’Italia match away to arch rivals and current Serie A league leaders Juventus.

“We are fine, we will prepare for the next game with the utmost concentration but also with the utmost serenity, without putting unnecessary pressure on ourselves.

The 27-year-old then spoke on how it felt to play behind closed doors tonight, a measure that had to be taken due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

“We are used to playing in front of people but we are professionals and we are stimulated regardless of whether the fans are there. We must think about playing a very important game.”

Biraghi, who returned to Inter this past Summer on a season long loan from Fiorentina, made his 24th appearance across all competitions and as mentioned above he got his first goal. He has also notched four assists this term.
