Inter manager Antonio Conte wants club management to go back in for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.it.

Conte wanted reunited with the Chilean national team midfielder during the recent January transfer window but when a deal looked difficult Inter management directed their attention toward Christian Eriksen, who they would subsequently successfully sign.

Despite getting a world class player in in Eriksen, Conte is still not happy and is understood to have reiterated his desire to have Vidal as part of his ranks umpteen times.

The report goes on to state that Vidal has the same desire as Conte and will even try and force a move to the Nerazzurri in the coming months.

The 32-year-old, who is out of contract with Barcelona come the end of next season, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has six goals and three assists.
