Inter have an interest in signing Newcastle United midfielder Miguel Almiron according to a report from renowned Paraguayan journalist Luis Enrique Perez.

Perez took to social media platform Twitter to break the news and also revealed that Premier League side Arsenal are keen on signing the Paraguay international, who has been plying his trade with his current employers for just over a year.

This is not the first time Inter have drawn links to the 26-year-old attacking midfielder with the club being linked with a move for him during his days at Superliga Argentina outfit Lanus.

Almiron then joined MLS franchise Atlanta United and it is there where he made his name for himself. He joined Newcastle in January 2019 and has since went on to represent the Magpies on 43 occasions.

This season Almiron, who is under contract until 2024, has made 33 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored six goals and provided a single assist.
