Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appreciates the interest that Inter have shown in signing him according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Gabon national team striker has little over a year left on his current contract with current employers Arsenal and has struggled to agree terms over a new contract with the club, where, by his own admission, he is very happy at the moment.

Arsenal have offered him a one year contract extension on the same salary but it is understood that the pacey 30-year-old forward is seeking a two year contract extension from the north London outfit.

In the event that he is unable to agree terms over a new deal, he would then consider Inter as a concrete option, the report goes on to state.

This season the former Borussia Dortmund man has made 32 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored 20 goals and provided a single assist.
