UEFA are considering multiple ways in which they can carry on the Champions League and Europa League according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

European football’s governing body today announced that all scheduled fixtures in both of the above competitions are postponed and it now remains to be seen what they will do.

UEFA have called a meeting with officials from their 55 member associations as well as boards from European leagues among others for next Tuesday and it is likely that ways in which things can proceed will be discussed during the meeting, which will take place via video conference.

One possible solution that is under consideration is to play the round of 16 fixtures and then carry out the remainder of the matches from the quarter final stages onward in the two countries where the finals are due to take place.

UEFA could opt to play the quarter finals too and then play both the semi finals and final in Turkey and Poland, where the Champions League and Europa League finals are due to take place respectively.
