Inter are keeping a close eye on Corentin Tolisso’s recovery after he underwent surgery yesterday according to a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

The Bayern Munich and France national team midfielder went under the knife to restore the lateral ligaments in his previously injured left ankle and is looking at four weeks out before being able to begin the rehabilitation process.

Inter have identified him as a target ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window as they look to bolster their midfield department and reports have suggested that the Nerazzurri club could do a swap deal with the reigning German Bundesliga champions.

Inter would be prepared to offer Ivan Perisic, who is currently out on loan at the Bavarian club, in exchange for Tolisso and some reports have suggested that Inter will likely have to thrown in some cash on top of the Croatian winger to get such a deal over the line.
