Multiple Italian clubs are interested in signing Marseille forward Florian Thauvin, including Inter, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how AC Milan, Roma, Inter and Napoli are all interested in signing the 27-year-old French winger, who is contracted to the Ligue 1 club until 2021. Other clubs across Europe are also interested in the 2018 World Cup winner, including Newcastle and Valencia.

Marseille director of football Andoni Zubizarreta hasn’t yet contacted the player’s entourage, the report continues, which suggests that a deal may be possible. The 27-year-old has only played 20 minutes so far this season, due to the fact that he is currently recovering from a key-hole surgery, after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. It has forced him to miss 28 games so far this season, only making two appearances.

Last season he scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in 37 appearances for the French club.
