Inter are no longer interested in signing Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud and are instead shifting their focus onto Everton’s Moise Kean and Napoli’s Dries Mertens, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how it’s unlikely that Inter will look to sign the 2018 World Cup winner when his contract expires with Chelsea at the end of next season. The deal for the Frenchman made sense considering that he would have joined as a free agent, but now are no longer interested in bringing him to Milan after he signed a one-year contract extension with the Blues.

Instead, Inter are considering signing former Juventus forward Moise Kean, the report continues, who has struggled to settle in the Premier League with Everton. The Nerazzurri are also considering signing Belgian forward Dries Mertens in the summer on a free transfer, after his contract expires with Napoli. The Nerazzurri have offered Mertens a contract worth €5 million net per season plus bonuses in order to convince him to come to Milan.
