Inter are considering taking up their buy back option on Jens Odgaard in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta di Modena.

Odgaard is currently out on loan at Eredivisie side Herenveen from Inter’s fellow Serie A side Sassuolo and is due to return to Sassuolo soon after the remainder of the Eredivisie season was cancelled due to the ongoing global Coronavirus crisis.

Inter sold the young Danish striker to the Neroverdi club for a few million in the Summer of 2018 and as part of the deal they obtained a buy back option. If Inter are to trigger the buy back option, it will set them back €15 million.

Whilst out on loan in the Netherlands, former Lyngby player Odgaard made 27 appearances across all competitions. In just over 2100 minutes on the park, he scored seven goals and also provided a single assist for his teammates.
