Legendary former Inter defender Marco Materazzi has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Inter clinching the Coppa Italia, the first trophy Inter won as part of their famous treble winning season of 2009/10.

Materazzi joined Inter in 2001 from fellow Italian club Perugia and spent 10 years on the club’s books. He made 276 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 21 goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

The 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Materazzi posted: “To those who have attacked us for May 5th, 2002: I only remember May 5th 2010: the dawn of our treble, the night of your worst nightmare that has yet to pass…5/5/2010.”
