Inter owned Mauro Icardi tops Juventus’ list of potential replacements for Gonzalo Higuain according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Higuain’s future looks set to be far away from the Turin club and in the two months that football has been on hold he has begun to think a great deal about his future.

His contract with Juventus is due to expire at the end of next season and he is waiting to understand whether he will see out the remainder of his deal or be sold. Recent reports have suggested that Higuain could return to where it all began for him, River Plate.

With Higuain’s future up in the air, Juventus are on the lookout for a replacement and Icardi, who is currently out on loan at Paris Saint Germain, tops their list.

Icardi aside, the report goes on to explain that Napoli’s Arkadiusz ‘Arek’ Milik is also on their radar.
