Inter and Juventus are both interested in signing Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Italian national team midfielder has starred this term for the Neroverdi club and as a result a number of clubs have sparked an interest in signing him.

Sassuolo paid €14 million to sign Locatelli from AC Milan and the report claims that he is now worth at least double that after his performances this term.

Inter and Juventus are both long term admirers of the 22-year-old, who has a contract with the MAPEI Stadium outfit until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have liked him for a long time whilst Juventus have liked him since he scored that wonder goal against them a few years back whilst he was still with AC Milan.
