Samuele Longo wishes to remain with Venezia past the end of this season and the Serie B club would like to keep a hold of him too according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoVeneziaSport.

The once highly rated youngster has spent the majority of his playing career out on loan and joined the Arancioneroverdi on the final day of the most recent January transfer window until the end of the current season.

Venezia would like to extend his loan with themselves for a further season but in order for this to happen Longo will have to sign a contract extension with Inter given his contract expires with the Nerazzurri club at the end of next season.

In the few games Longo managed to play for Venezia in before football was brought to a halt due to the Coronavirus crisis he impressed as he grabbed three goals and tallied a single assist in seven appearances across all competitions.
