Inter star Lautaro Martinez may still remain with the club after this summer, due to Barcelona’s inability to meet the Nerazzurri’s demands, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sportmediaset earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have no intention in offering a discount on the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who has a release clause of €111 million.

The Milanese club did indicate to Barcelona that they would accept €90 million in cash and some players in exchange for Lautaro, but so far, the Blaugrana have only offered €60 million in cash and two players in exchange.

The Nerazzurri aren’t convinced by the players offered by Barcelona, the report continues, with the exception of Arturo Vidal, although they disagree with the Blaugrana about his value.

There is a chance that Lautaro could remain with Inter, as the player has suggested that he will not force a move away from Milan, and so the Nerazzurri may hold out for the offer they want.
