Bayern Munich are unlikely to pay the full €20 million to sign Inter owned forward Ivan Perisic, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Croatian forward joined the German club on loan last summer, with a €20 million buy option agreed between the two clubs. Whilst the 2018 World Cup finalist has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, the Bavarian club may decide against paying the agreed upon figure.

Yesterday was the original deadline for Bayern to decide whether to sign Perisic or not, the report continues, as it would have originally been the date that the Bundesliga would have ended. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the dates have changed and so Bayern will have nine more games to decide.

Inter may agree to a slight discount, the report continues, if there is a lack of other clubs interested in him, due to the fact that he will cost Inter €6.5 million.
