Inter will leave three players in Milan ahead of tonight’s match against Napoli due to various injuries, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Inter coach Antonio Conte will not be able to rely on the two Uruguayan players in the squad, as veteran defender Diego Godin only started running on the pitch yesterday and midfielder Matias Vecino is still suffering from a knee injury, although it seems like the player will be able to avoid having surgery.

The third player that will be unable to play against Napoli tonight is 31-year-old Italian Danilo D’Ambrosio, the report continues. The former Torino full back is suffering from muscular discomfort which could make him miss the next few games.

The good news for Conte is that Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni have both recovered in time for tonight’s game, the report highlights. The duo should start from the beginning, but Conte may deploy Andrea Ranocchia instead.
