Inter have prepared a €20 million offer for Chelsea wing-back Emerson Palmieri but the Blues want more, according to a report from English media outlet the Guardian earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have opened talks with the Blues in the last few days, also approaching the 25-year-old Italian Brazilian’s agents. Inter coach Antonio Conte has a history with Emerson after coaching the player in London when he was in charge of Chelsea, and so knows that Emerson fits well in his tactical system.

The player is no longer considered important by coach Frank Lampard, the report continues, and the Blues are looking to sign Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell this summer, further showing how Emerson is excluded from the future project at the club.

Inter have prepared a €20 million for the 25-year-old, but Chelsea are expected to ask for more, considering that he is valued at €30 million. The Italian Brazilian has made 19 appearances so far this season.
