A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that there are divisions between the Inter squad and their coach Antonio Conte.

The report details how the Lecce born coach remained silent during the Nerazzurri’s disappointing first half against Hellas Verona earlier this week, highlighting the division between parts of the squad and the former Juventus coach.

Parts of the team no longer feel Conte’s confidence in them and some understand that they will not be involved in his future project at the club, lowering their confidence further.

Inter have no plans to dismiss Conte, the report continues, even considering his €12 million annual salary, which lasts until 2022, as well as strategic reasons.

The Lecce born coach is keen to overhaul the squad this summer and wants many new players, so the Nerazzurri’s transfer market moves this summer may prove vital for the relationship between coach and club.
