Inter want to move forward when it comes to on loan Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team player joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer from Manchester United and the two clubs recently agreed to extend the loan until August 5.

Due to this loan extension, Sanchez is able to play in the remainder of Inter’s Serie A matches and he will also be able to play in the Europa League last 16 one legged clash against Spanish outfit Getafe.

What happens after that date remains to be seen. Prior to last night’s goalless draw at home to Fiorentina, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta had confirmed that there has been recent talks with Manchester United over Sanchez.

This season Sanchez has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
