Sandro Tonali will be in Milan on Monday as Inter close in on completing a deal to sign him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter have agreed a loan with obligation to buy deal for Tonali with Brescia which totals €35 million, between the €10 million loan fee plus €25 million fee Inter will be obliged to pay at the end of next season.

Inter have already agreed personal terms with the highly rated Italian central midfielder. He will sign a four year contract with a starting salary of €2.5 million a year which will rise over the duration of the contract.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that despite AC Milan’s last ditch attempt to sign him, the Rossoneri and Rondinelle are too far apart in negotiations for there to be a twist in the tale.

This season Tonali has made 35 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided seven assists.
