A return to the Bundesliga is looming for Inter wing-back Valentino Lazaro according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach are both understood to be keen on signing the Austrian national team defender whose agent Max Hagmayr has not hidden the fact that he is in talks with a club who will play in the Champions League regarding his client.
The report explains that Lazaro would like a return to Milan but in truth his future appears to be very far away from San Siro.
Lazaro only joined Inter ahead of the 2019/20 season but an injury in pre-season made it difficult for him to cement a place in the Inter side in the first half of the season and this led to him being loaned out to Premier League club Newcastle United for the second half of the campaign.
