It cannot be ruled out that Antonio Conte will mirror the actions of Jose Mourinho if he leads Inter to Europa League glory according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

After winning the Champions League, Mourinho departed the club for Real Madrid and it could be the case that Conte departs Inter after winning the Europa League but the report from the Rome based news outlet states that unlike Mourinho, Conte does not have another job lined up to move on to.

Conte’s Inter future is right up in the air due to the comments he made following Inter’s Serie A season finale against Atalanta and he is understood to still stand by what he said which only adds to the uncertainty surrounding his future.

The former Italian national team boss will meet with Inter president Steven Zhang regardless of the outcome of the Europa League and he will present a number of demands from players he wants signed to getting more powers.

The report concludes that it is not possible that Zhang will satisfy every one of Conte’s demands. Whilst Zhang wishes to find a middle ground with Conte, he will make it clear that any further outbursts from Conte will not be tolerated.
