Inter goalkeeper Michele Di Greogrio has been loaned to newly promoted Serie B club Monza for the upcoming 2020/21 season the Nerazzurri club have confirmed with a statement posted on the club’s official website.

The 23-year-old shot-stopper, who is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season, has joined Monza on a non-fee paying loan and Monza have an option to buy him whilst Inter have a buy-back clause inserted into the deal although Inter do not give any specific details with regard to the figures for either option.

Di Gregorio is a product of Inter’s youth academy and he spent this past season out on loan at Serie B club Pordenone, who made the Serie B promotion play-off semi-finals.

The Italian, who once represented Italy at under 17 level, made 35 appearances across all competitions for the Neroverdi club and he proved key for them as he managed to keep a respectable tally of 11 clean sheets in his season at the Stadio Nereo Rocco.
