AC Milan target Sandro Tonali wants to honour the agreement he made with Inter months ago, but would be happy to join the Rossoneri if Inter don’t close out the deal, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the 20-year-old Italian midfielder accepted an offer from Inter in April, but the Nerazzurri focused on other priorities at the time, and still need to free up the midfield department a little, especially considering they are also targeting Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal. This gave time for rivals AC Milan to get involved, making an offer for the player.

Brescia haven’t accepted the offer but the Rossoneri could still improve it in order to close out the deal, the report continues. Inter will have to decide soon whether to sink the shot for Tonali or not, but the player does want to honour the agreement previously made. Should an offer not arrive, then the 20-year-old would be happy to join the Rossoneri as he wants to stay in Serie A and continue his growth.
