Considering that it seems clear now that Inter will sign Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, the future of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen hangs in the balance, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte has been keen to sign the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder for the last two transfer windows and will seemingly finally get his man.

With Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella all likely starters in the midfield, space seems limited for the 28-year-old Dane, who joined the Nerazzurri from Tottenham in January.

Inter may be willing to consider selling Eriksen this window, the report continues, but only if an offer of over €50 million came in, considering that they have already invested €27.5 million into the player.

Rumours suggest that some intermediaries, not under direct guidance from Inter, are already proposing the player to clubs in England.
