Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge refused to comment on the Marcelo Brozovic links due to tryng to find an agreement with Inter according to a report from German television channel Sport 1 journalist Florian Plettenberg.

When speaking on the future of loanee Ivan Perisic a few weeks back, former Inter striker Rummenigge was quizzed on the speculation in the media linking them with a potential move for Brozovic but was quick to respond with ‘no comment’.

Inter and Croatian national team midfielder Brozovic has been linked with a potential move to the Bundesliga champions for a few weeks now with many reports stating that he could be the direct replacement for Thiago Alcantara, who is widely expected to leave during the transfer window.

“KH Rummenigge says ‘no comment’ to Tuttosport because the topic is hot. Both clubs try to find a solution to realise the transfer. But no concrete negotiations yet. Moreover a possible Brozovic deal has nothing to do with Perisic,” Plettenberg posted to social media platform Twitter, a short while ago.

Brozovic, who is reportedly no longer considered as indispendable by Inter, made 46 appearances across all competitions last season, in which he scored three goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.
