Ivan Perisic could end up remaining with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Libero.

The Croatian national team player is now back with the Nerazzurri following a season long loan spell with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich.

It was widely expected that Bayern Munich would sign him on a permanent basis but yesterday they confirmed that they would not be doing so and formally bid farewell to the former Borussia Dortmund player.

The report from Libero goes on to explain that if Inter are unable to get an offer of €15 million for Perisic, he could stay with the club and be utilised as the fourth choice striker option.

Perisic joined Inter in the Summer of 2015 from Wolfsburg and still has just under two years left on his contract with the club. The 31-year-old has made 163 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he has scored 40 goals and provided 35 assists for his teammates.
