Inter are interested in signing Santos striker Kaio Jorge, with the player’s agent currently in talks with Inter, according to a report from Brazilian media outlet Gazeta Esportiva earlier today.
The report details how former Nerazzurri defender Gabriele Adani recommended the 18-year-old Brazilian to European teams earlier this year, and the Milanese club have started paying attention.
Santos have officially granted authorization to the Spanish agent Marcos Vázques Dias to talk with Inter regarding a move, the report continues, which is valid from August 27th to September 20th, a week from now.
After that date the authorization is automatically revoked, although Santos can choose to extend it at their discretion.
Kaio Jorge is contracted to Santos until December of 2021, officially becoming a professional player in 2018.
The Brazilian teenager made 14 appearances across all competitions last season for Santos, for a total of 727 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal and impressed with his vision.
