Santos president José Carlos Peres has authorised an agent to negotiate with Inter over highly rated striker Kaio Jorge according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Peres has authorised Spanish agent Marcos Vazques Dias to negotiate the possible transfer of the 18-year-old sensation to Inter but at this moment in time, there are no negotiations set-up between Dias and Inter, the report from the Milan based news outlet insists.
Brazilian media yesterday linked Inter with moving for the Brazilian’s youth national team representative, who is under contract with Santos until the end of December next year.
Kaio Jorge, who scored six goals in 10 appearances for the Brazil under 17 national team, is currently regarded as one of the most promising young Brazilian talents out there at the moment.
Last season Kaio Jorge made 14 appearances across all competitions. In just over 700 minutes on the field, he managed to score a single goal.
