Roma are to meet with Marash Kumbulla’s representatives this afternoon to hold negotiations over personal terms according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Roma and Hellas Verona have reached an agreement over the highly rated Italian born Albanian national team player on the basis of a loan with obligation to buy set at €30 million.

Now Roma must reach an agreement with Kumbulla and there will be first contact between the Italian capital city club and Kumbulla’s representatives this afternoon. Once personal terms have been agreed, it will be possible for the deal to be finalised.

Roma are set to beat Inter to the signature of the 20-year-old centre back, who had his first team breakthrough at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club this past season. Kumbulla made 26 appearances across all competitions during the 2019/20 campaign in which he scored a single goal.
