Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal will land in Milan tonight ahead of his medical exams with Inter tomorrow, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder will land in the Lombardy capital tonight and will take his medical exams with the Nerazzurri, before signing a two-year contract with the club worth €6 million net per season, with an option for a third year.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has been working hard to finalise the deal, first offloading Uruguayan veteran Diego Godin to Cagliari, the report continues.

The 34-year-old will join the Rossoblu on a three-year deal, allowing Inter to lower their wage bill before signing the former Bayern Munich and Juventus midfielder.

Conte will finally get the player that he has wanted since his arrival in Milan last year, with the duo fondly remembering their time together in Turin years ago.

Conte still wants Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante as well, but players must be sold first before the Frenchman can arrive.
