Inter will have to sell unneeded players if they want to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how Uruguayan veteran Diego Godin will sign for fellow Italian side Cagliari tomorrow, allowing Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal to join the club from Barcelona.

The Nerazzurri squad is still large and bloated with unneeded players, like Joao Mario and Radja Nainggolan, and so the Milanese club must look to sell these players if they are to make any new investments.

Coach Antonio Conte’s top transfer target now is Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, the report continues, but first work must be done in the outgoing transfer market if the 29-year-old is to arrive in Milan.

The Blues want around €50 million for the 2018 World Cup winner and so a strong player like Marcelo Brozovic might be sold in order to generate the necessary funds.
