Inter and Sampdoria have agreed a transfer fee for wing-back Antonio Candreva according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Candreva is in the final year of his contract with Inter and an agreement between the Nerazzurri and Blucerchiati clubs has been reached over a €2.5 million deal for him.

Sampdoria have tabled a three year contract offer worth €1.5 million a year to Candreva and Sampdoria management are to prioritise Candreva negotiations this week.

The ball is now in the player’s court. The former Lazio player has received other offers as well as interesting proposals and should give a response to Sampdoria, who are unwilling to wait around forever, in the next few days because a meeting between the parties has been scheduled and Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero will travel to Milan.
