Andy Bara, one of Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic’s agents, discussed the position of the 27-year-old Croatian in an interview with Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

“Marcelo is one of Inter’s best players. He is very good in Milan and Inter, but it is clear that after years the desire to change may come.

“Now he is happy, if he were to leave Inter, he would only do so for a club with a better chance of winning titles. And it is not easy, because Inter are a great club with many chances to win.”

Brozovic, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, is one of the players that could potentially be sold by the Milanese club in order to raise the necessary funds to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, coach Antonio Conte’s top transfer target.

The 27-year-old Croatian performed strongly for the Milanese club last season, but may be at the peak of his market value and so could be sold by the club whilst still valuable.

Brozovic made 46 appearances across all competitions last season for Inter, for a total of 3864 minutes. In that time, he scored three goals and provided eight assists.

The player played 75 minutes of the club’s season opener against Fiorentina yesterday evening, but failed to truly shine at the San Siro.
