Inter’s ownership have given the green light to club management to satisfy Inter manager Antonio Conte by signing N’Golo Kante according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

Conte wants Kante added to his squad just like he wanted Romelu Lukaku added last Summer and Inter president Steven Zhang has told Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta to please Conte.

In order to sign Kante from Chelsea, Inter need to sell players but Inter have struggled to offload the players that they are looking to get rid off to raise funds.

Radja Nainggolan, Marcelo Brozovic, Christian Eriksen, Joao Mario and Matias Vecino are all up for sale and in one way or another, at least two will leave and perhaps as many as three could depart.

Inter need to raise €50 million to sign Kante and have until next Monday to do so and get a deal done for Kante before the transfer window closes until January.

Half of the team are available for transfer including Ivan Perisic, who failed to convince with his performance at left wing-back against Fiorentina.
