Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan’s return to Cagliari is done with him set to return in deal with a total value of €12 million according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 30-time Belgian national team player spent the duration of last season out on loan at the Sardinia based Rossoblu club, who have far from hidden their desire to bring Nainggolan back to their club.

Nainggolan, who also had a spell at Inter earlier on in his playing career, is said to be unwilling to accept a back-up role at Inter and reports have suggested he was annoyed by the fact he played as little as he did in this past weekend’s 4-3 win over Fiorentina.

The 32-year-old arrived at Inter in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A side Roma in a players plus cash deal has since went on to make 37 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
