Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan are the latest Inter players to have tested positive for COVID-19 according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian and Belgian central midfielders have joined defenders Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni in testing positive for COVID-19.

Following Bastoni’s positive test result a few days ago when with the Italian under 21 national team, all Inter players not on international duty, including both Gagliardini and Nainggolan, were subjected to a round of testing and both Gagliardini and Nainggolan have returned positive test results.

The Nerazzurri club now have a total of four players who are COVID-19 positive ahead of the upcoming Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan in just over one weeks time.

AC Milan meanwhile have two players who are COVID-19 positive in striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who formerly played for Inter, as well as central defender Leo Duarte.
