Inter coach Achraf Hakimi has been given green light so play in today’s Serie A match away against Genoa by the relevant authorities Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia reported on air moments ago.
According to the report, the final go ahead has been provided and the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund player is available for selection for the match.
Hakimi tested positive for COVID-19 hours before the Nerazzurri’s opening group stage fixture in the Champions League against Borussia Monchengladbach and was unable to play in a match which ended in a 2-2 draw.
However, Hakimi has since tested negative twice, with the last test having been conducted yesterday and the result of that arrived earlier today.
Therefore the player is now at Antonio Conte’s disposal and could start the Serie A clash against Genoa which is scheduled to be played at 18.00 CET at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district.
