Inter president Steven Zhang has told club management that none of the club’s big players will be allowed to leave on loan in January nor will any of them be allowed to leave for a discounted price according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Radja Nainggolan and Christian Eriksen were both players who were subject to interest late on in the Summer transfer window.

Nainggolan was wanted by Cagliari, who were wanting to get a discount on him, just like Paris Saint-Germain, Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin wanted a discount for Eriksen.

Inter refused all offers in the end and in the time since the transfer window closed, both Nainggolan and Eriksen have continued to be linked with moves away.

The report goes on to conclude by adding that Inter president Zhang’s veto does not just apply to both Nainggolan and Eriksen, but everyone at the club.
