Olivier Giroud could be an option for Inter in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Chelsea and French national team forward is a player to have been linked with a potential move to Inter on several occasions and by his own admission he came close to moving to Serie A.

The 34-year-old attacker is out of contract come the end of this season with Premier League Chelsea, who he has played for since January 2018 following a move from Arsenal, therefore he could be available at a cut price given his expiring contract status.

Giroud has struggled for playing time this term with him having been limited to just four appearances across all competitions to date, three of which have come as a substitute. In 124 minutes on the field, the former Montpellier man has scored a single goal.
